Baskets & Planters - Good flowers...mean good business!
Last year we introduced you to a couple of the floral decoration projects we undertook. Here is an update on one and a couple of new projects to interest you.
The Buccaneer at Babbacombe
The Buccaneer wanted more impact so that's what they got! Despite a difficult summer this pub is now regarded by locals and visitors alike as their "front garden". The landlord is happy as he rings up the increased turnover. Flowers mean good business!

The Holt at Honiton
The Holt provided a blank canvas just crying out for flowers. The landlord was delighted when several locals wrote congratulating him on his display. Flowers mean good business!!

The Story of the Blue Ball at Sidford
The Blue Ball was destroyed by fire in August 2005. We were pleased to be brought in to the rebuilding process early enough to install basket irrigation before the building was roofed and plastered. The architect did not want pipes on the surface of the building. This unique solution worked beautifully, both architect and landlord happy with the innovative approach.

As the delivery date for their planters was early September, we planted and stopped the inserts, growing them on at our nursery so that the frontage simply exploded with colour ready for the opening. Our pictures were taken just three days after installation!
We are passionate about flowers, but even more passionate that our customers get the maximum benefit from the use of annual flowers. So if you would like to explore the use of flowers to enhance your business, give us a call. We would like to explore the possibilities with you!
...and behind every good display
Every display relies on good science to 'make it happen'. This is where our boxes with their drop-in liners really score! They come in three sizes to make one,two or three standard liners. Of course, replanting at the season's end couldn't be simpler. Just drop in the new planter already well grown... job done!
Irrigation that is simple and effective is also a vital hidden ingredient. We stock a whole range of
bits we know work well because we use them ourselves. Each year we review new ideas that are coming onto the scene. So it's always worth giving us a call to discuss your irrigation or planter needs. We will be delighted to advise!
